ASD & ADHD private assessment recommendations Liverpool

Has anyone had a private assessment for a child for ASD and ADHD in the Liverpool area and can recommend it?

Looking for somewhere that does a thorough, in person assessment, ie ADOS, Qb test etc,

We used https://www.adhdfoundation.org.uk/ in the city centre. Very friendly and all happened quickly. I would recommend them. We haven't gone down the private route for ASD as I've been told school will only accept a diagnosis made through a referral they've made so would be an expensive waste of time

Surely that’s not legal. Your child’s medical status has nothing to do with them.

It may be common but that doesn’t mean it’s lawful. Also, your comment said they wouldn’t accept a diagnosis that wasn’t made following their referral. I just think that’s outrageous.

It isn’t lawful for schools or LAs to have blanket bans on refusing to accept independent assessments. AndS SENDIST definitely do consider them.
