My son received his first EHCP recently. I wondered where is best to find learning support assistants/TAs. Sadly the salary is low but I wondered if this type of job might suit recent graduates looking to work in education or SEN/part time students or someone keen to work term time only/school hours. Has anyone found success finding people via any particular route? My son's school will be recruiting too. He is not disruptive but patience is critical as he can disengage very easily - he has a high IQ, is autistic and I suspect perhaps inattentive ADHD. Thanks!
