Just that really, there is an article that I read today that shows that 1/3 of those referred to the Tavistock Clinic in London about gender or identity issues were autistic, when the population rate is under 2%. I wonder why this has been happening?

This is being picked up elsewhere I think. I've seen other discussions on it. Debates around whether it's to do with not feeling like they fit in.

There was a young trans man on Go Hard or Go Home on the BBC the other day who seemed to me to be very ND - struggled a lot with emotional regulation and sensory stuff, reminded me a lot of my own DS. But all that was talked about was identity. He didn't seem very happy at all, even post transition, I wonder how much of that is a sense of not belonging and searching for that feeling of fitting in. I hope he can find a way to be more at peace with himself, it was very upsetting to see him so distressed and it makes me worry for DS who is a few years younger but struggling with a sense of self relating to others at the moment.
