What Evidence for a Carer's Ticket?

My ds has asd and we receive dla which I think means that when we go to places I can use a carer's ticket so I don't have to pay.

Does anyone know what evidence is required? Do I just take the dla letter?

Thank you

It depends on the place. Many will accept the DLA award letter.

Check out the access card. It's £15 for 3 years and is widely recognised. You have to send evidence and they give you a card with different symbols depending on need. For example a companion ticker or unable to queue

Thank you! I got the access card and it works a treat.
