To think I should get DLA (disability allowance) for Son?

Sorry but not sure where to post this. Basically just looking for advice on whether people in similar situations have gotten DLA for a child with ADHD? My son has a diagnosis and is hard work, I’ve filled in the form and sent the evidence but what is the likely hood I will get anything for a child with ADHD? I really didn’t think I would but I’ve been told to apply with my evidence as he should be entitled to it.

DLA is based on needs, not diagnosis, so it will depend on individual needs.

My friend has a son with adhd and she's recently been awarded mrc and lrm. It is all based on care needs though so if his needs are high he will likely be awarded
