I was horrified when I read about this on the bbc website earlier.

It's absolutely appalling on so many levels. To treat somebody with DS (or any disability) as disposable and for the sole purpose of murdering so many people.

I'm not even sure what they're fighting for any more. It's truly, truly shocking.

I agree littleducks, it is a new low. How can people commit this kind of atrocity and think they are doing it in God's name? And it was at an animal/pet market, where presumably there are kids. I'm no expert on the Muslim religion, but from what I understand, the emphasis is on being a good person and protecting innocents. Well kids and the mentally disabled are innocents. Words fail me!

Littleducks, I agree, in addition to the overall, unspeakable horror over every aspect of what happened, I was incensed las nigt when the BBC - the BBC referred to the poo women as 'suicide bombers'. Peopel who coommit suicide thake thier own life. These women had thier lives taken by the people who set it up. They were amongst the mursered, as far as I am concerned.

They were murdered too.
This is such a heinous outrage.

I'm with moira, disgusting, I have never read such a thing like this before in my life. It is hard to believe human beings could be so cruel and calculating and take advantage of the inocent.
