He has managed 4 this week which is amazing as he has struggled to get all his daily points and rewards at all this school year.

I don't know what has brought on this change in him. Maybe the fluoxetine is finally making a real difference or maybe he has turned a corner in himself. I really hope the latter.

He's still been a pain at home but he's making an effort here as well. I don't want to get excited as tomorrow could be a different story but I can't help being hopeful that maybe things are finally starting to get a bit better.

Please send your positive calming vibes to ds to help him amke it a whole week of really good days at school

well done dustystar's DS. Really calm vibes for tomorrow. I'm so excited for you .

I can feel a little bit of your pleasure in the first four and hope for tomorrow - my DS's longest run of full-stars was 3 days so far.

He was so pleased with himself this morning and determind to have another good day. I really hope he manages it or he will be gutted. He puts so much pressure on himself that he constantly fails to live up to his own expectations and so struggles badly with his self esteem.

We and his school are constantly working with him to get him to set himself more realistic goals that he can acheive and feel proud of himself. If he manages to do well today it will be a huge boost for him.

Well he didn't manage it

Not an awful day but he didn't manage to get either of his rewards and only earnt one star. Still he is doing so much better than a few weeks ago so i can't complain.

At least he didnt have a really really awful day.................and as you said hes being better than he was so keep positive.........my ds came home from his week away, he had an ofsted inspector sitting next to him at lunch on Wed. Apparently my ds is charming and a great communicator!!!!
