I WATCHED THIS DRAMA THE OTHER WEEK ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP THAT DEVELOPES BETWEEN A COUPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.
WAS VERY WELL ACTED AND I STAYED UP TILL THE EARLY HOURS TO WATCH IT. MY DAUGHTER HAS CEREBRAL PALSY BUT SHE WAS BOARDING AT SCHOOL WHEN IT WAS SHOWN . I KNOW SHE'D LOVE TO SEE IT BUT DON'T KNOW ANYONE WHO WOULD HAVE RECORDED IT....WOULD ANY PARENTS LIKE TO COMMENT ON THE PROGRAMME OR GIVE ME ANY HINTS AS TO HOW I COULD GET HOLD OF A COPY UNFORTUNATLY IT PROB WOULDNT COME OUT ON DVD...OR CAN ANY PARENTS RECOMMEND ANY DVDS THAT HAVE PEOPLE PORTRAYING SPECIAL NEEDS/DISABLED PEEPS IN THEM [NOT DOCUMENTARY STYLE] THAT AN 18YR OLD MIGHT ENJOY?
SHE ONLY HAS: WHATS EATING GILBERT GRAPE [STARRING LEANARDO DECAP AS AUTISTIC BOY]
MY LEFT FOOT: CHRISTIE BROWNS LIFE STORY.
INSIDE I'M DANCING: TWO LADS, 1 WITH CEREBRAL PALSY & 1 WITH M.D. UNFORTUNATLY THESE 'TYPE'OF FILMS ARE LOW ON THE GROUND

All avalibe from tesco dvd rental ( that where i rented them from) other suplliers exsist.

"shooting Fish" (1997) one of main charcters has severe dyslexia, is also a loveable con man and quite dishy... Its a british rom com with fab sound track.
Frida- about the Famous also disabled mexican Artist Frida Carlo.released in 2002.
Murderball.(2005) about the USA wheelchair rugby team. This one is a documentry but a Very watchable one with some atractive young men in
Little miss sunshine. (2006) Family members with depression amd colour blindness and elective mutism. Still manages to be basicly a funny film and a real feelgooder even tho there is a death as well.
