dla renewal forms - how early do you get them and how quick are you supposed to send them back

DD gets dla til nov 2008. dd is still under care of ped, autism team, ot and salt. We are cautiously optimistic that things may improve where we won't be able to claim dla in nov. she is better some days but then we have awful days and regression. I would tell them if she gets discharged from health professionals at any time before nov, as i feel lucky to get dla and have never felt right if not entitled to something. I was wondering what time scales are involved with renewal.

you will get a new claim pack about april/may, try it send it back asap, so thry have time to work it all out.

dd1 pack arrived just after dh transplant so i did leave it late, and hers runs out in march. i am also hoping that maybe she wont get it this time. but part of me thinks she probably will still.

the problem is deciding at what point to tell dla things have improved. problem is dd sensory behaviour is like a rollercoaster, think things are going well, then something happens and knocks you back to square one. After all I am not an expert on these sn matters.

I would be over the moon if we did not have to reapply. After all we only use DLA to pay for dd private OT (very expensive)
