Hello, just posting to see if anyone else is going through anything similar?
would be great to talk 🙂
my 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with end stage renal failure in February this year after feeling unwell for a few months, it was a total shock and after spending the past few months in and out of Alder Hey, we have just started dialysis at home via a PD catheter. Absolutely bricking it to now be responsible for her dialysis! But the best solution all round to attempt to live any kind of “normal” life until she has a transplant.

Hi! I just saw this post and saw that you didn't get any answers. Did your daughter get her transplant?
I have a kidney transplant myself, got it from my mom when I was 24. I am now 31 with a 1 year old.
I also know a mom with a baby girl who has kidney failure and will need a transplant soon.
