As the title suggests my son who has ASD, non verbal and a SLD has essentially done nothing but bite, pinch, kick and hurt me for the last few weeks. I am covered in bruises, bite marks and scratches. I look horrendous.
He is 9 and quite strong. He seems to know where to pinch to cause the most pain (bingo wings, inside of thighs etc).
To be honest I'm extremely exhausted and so sick of it all.
He doesn't do it constantly it seems to be a release of something ? His whole body becomes tense and he looks angry - then he goes back to how he was.
There are no obvious triggers. I'm waiting on a dentist appointment.
School have been supportive but we have been off for Easter.
It's affecting everything and the whole family.
I'm so fed up with it I feel so sad and low. Does anyone else have any experience of this situation or behaviour? Even if it's just to share as I feel so utterly alone.
