I already have a 9 year old son with an ASD diagnosis, i knew right from when he was a toddler but it took years for anyone to take me seriously.
My now 14 month old is also showing signs of having autism, more so than my son did. She doesn’t respond to her name, she constantly flaps her arms, she doesn’t point/clap or wave, she used to babble but since turning one doesn’t really babble, she used to say mamma and dadda but now doesn’t. I am seeing the health visitor next week, although i know they can’t or won’t do anything at this stage.
She is a happy baby otherwise, she laughs, she smiles, we look at books together and she loves the touch and feel books.
I’m looking for any advice on resources on how i can help my baby develop her social communication. Any recommendations please?
