Autistic boys and early puberty signs (excess if testosterone)

Dear mums

My autistic son is 7 years old...he is still without speech and lots of sensory needs to be met on a daily basis (sensory seeking)

I was wondering how did you go about the teen age period and its challenging issues especially with boys and their early puberty signs (excess if testosterone)

It might seem too early to talk about this but we need as parents to plan everything well beforehand ...

If DS is showing signs of puberty at 7 you should make an appointment with the GP. In boys, signs of puberty before 9 is considered precocious.
