Carers Allowance and tax credits

Has anyone applied for Carers Allowance and has it had an effect on the amount of working tax credit / universal credit that you receive? Trying to do some calculations! I've tried the entitledto app but it doesn't seem accurate to what we currently receive.

Yes it’s counted as full income for tax credits so needs to be declared.

It’s also counted in full for universal credit and it’s deducted £ for £ from your entitlement.

Also to add, on UC you get a carers element added to your entitlement which without checking is about £163 a month.
