Child dla award - updating child tax credit

Hi

I sent a copy of my daughters dla award letter to tax credits to report the change of circumstances (child tax credit)

The letter was signed for but I haven’t had any acknowledgment yet, does anybody know roughly how long it takes them to process the change? Just wondering when is best to chase up etc

It can take a while. Do you have the tax credits h&m revenue app. You can find things on there! Failing that give them a ring. If it takes a few weeks they will likely backdate it.

Thank you, I don’t have the app so will have a look at that. Its only been a couple of weeks, I just wasn’t sure how long to give them before chasing them but going on what you said I think I need to give them a lot longer. Thank you 😊

It can take a while like I said but contact or in doubt. I've just realised I called fit H&M revenue 🤦‍♀️😅 been shopping online with H&M today and it is on my mind! The app is pretty good. You can change some things on there!
