Family Cognitive Therapy; minefield for Mothers?

Just finished CT therapy programme with Son, possible ASD or OCD, who is 12. Son appears to have gained from experience but I felt, perhaps wrongly, that as the "visible" parent (ie Mother, as is mostly the case in SN) there was an element of "it might be your fault". Never expressed directly, but in a roundabout "perhaps you are making too much of this" mode. My recent serious illness also appeared to be an issue. Willing to accept some issues and participate but had genuine concerns as to the "Munchausens" possibility. Sons School had contacted me re involuntary movement, some of which inappropriate, whilst in School, but I wonder if anyone else has any comments. Perhaps its me but I wont be rushiing back, except if Son is desperate to do so, which he is not
