DT2 takes monumental rages. How would I know if it was something more?

He's nearly 3.5. He can be utterly adorable but frequently takes the most monumental rages which take a huge amount of energy to try to break. Being tough or being gentle or being consistent has made no difference. I'm just wondering if I should be taking it more seriously.

He is the youngest of 3 and a twin and my other children have what I would say are fairly normal fights/tears/tantrums/shouting and plenty of them too! He just seems to be on another level.

Does he have any other symptoms of anything frumpygrumpy? Kids are all so different, he could just be super-stubborn (which is not necessarily a bad thing in later life, but not good for you now?)

My DS is ASD, but he had loads of symptoms and not just one. He does have tantrums , and what seems to work for me is to make my face very very angry and fierce and shout at him -"don't you dare have a tantrum or I will have one too!". I'm sure it's not recommended practice, but it seems to work and it sure as hell makes me feel better too!
