Dla gone up, who do I need to tell?

Ds (aged 6) has had his dla renewal and thanks to his recent autism diagnosis it's gone up. He was getting middle rate care and now gets high rate care and low rate mobility. I already get carers allowance and the disabled child element of child tax credits but is there anything else we should be claiming?

Let CTC know as with HRC you get a higher rate disability premium. Have you checked if you are eligible for a Family Fund grant?

Also, have you considered applying for a blue badge? DS won't get one automatically like with HRM but may get one on assessment.

Thankyou. We are eligible for a family fund grant so I will sort that out and the tax credits. I'll look into a blue badge too. It would be amazing if we could get a blue badge as ds is a bolter so going out with him is a bit of a nightmare.
