Blossom house school for nursery?

Hi all,
Our eldest child has a speech delay and has been having regular SLT sessions which have really helped. We are now looking at nurseries for September and are stuck between choices:

  1. We have been offered a place at Blossom House in New Malden for the nursery year. I couldn't view the school due to Covid.
  1. State nursery in surbiton (long ditton) where he will (hopefully!!!) Be going for reception.

I'm stuck between seeing if he can be "boosted" by a year at blossom house vs helping him settle in a mainstream environment where he will be going long term.

We will be self funding BH so £ is a consideration but will will continue with SLT if he goes to state nursery. He's also been doing some physio/OT sessions as he is slightly behind with a few skills so will continue with those if he goes to state.

Our hearing coach (he has bad glue ear) has said that BH would only help if the
other kids spoke better than he does but I couldn't gauge that as I wasn't allowed in!

Thanks!
