I know this is an old post, but just asking how your experience has been a nearly year on?

My daughter had a stroke at birth on the left side of her brain, but she's only 2 months so no diagnosis of hemiplegia or CP just yet.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that happened to your daughter.
it’s my friends little one, and
they are doing fantastic!
please keep an eye out for symptoms on the right side of your baby’s body, such as a clenched fist that doesn’t like to open, this was the classic CP sign.
does your baby suffer seizures at all?
Push for diagnosis and testing, its never too early and will lead to faster help if necessary.
Never give up hope, These kids can really surprise you!

Thank you so much for replying!

I'm glad to hear they're doing well.

She had seizures in the few days after her birth which is what resulted in the MRI which identified a stroke, but hasn't had any since! 🙌🏽

She does clench her fists at times, but it's difficult to tell if it's Hemi or just a baby thing as she also clenches her left fist.

A little stiffness on her right but I'm hoping we can overcome that with lots of physio.
