I really feel like I need some support and someone to talk to that understands. I have two primary kids with SN (LD and dyspraxia) and I’m really at the point where I don’t want to be their mum anymore. I just hate every minute. Everything is a battle. I really feel like I hate them.

Does anyone know of any good support groups?

I know how you feel- my daughter exhibits violent and challenging behavior with her SEND. It’s difficult during the pandemic as so many support groups stopped. Are you registered as a parent carer with the local authority? You can also request a carers assessment to look at your needs which I’ve applied for this week. If you aren’t registered worth doing as they hold support groups and can point you in direction of counselling. If your children display violent/ challenging behaviour (VCB) it is worth looking up the VCB support group on Facebook run by a lady called Yvonne Newbold.

Have you tried Googling carers centre and your council name? They usually provide support groups, counselling and well-being activities and our one has a specific parent carers support group
