Hello. I am considering a private assessment for ADHD for my child.

The consultant would need to work both for the NHS and privately doing the same work to ensure the diagnosis is accepted and not challenged.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

We also went with Clinical Partners.
I don't know who you think may challenge the diagnosis though? It would be negligent of a hospital to, for example, not believe a child is on ADHD meds if brought in for another medical condition, and if anyone else doesn't think the doctor who does the diagnosis is qualified, they should be reporting them to the BMA.
A doctor in private practice has to have exactly the same qualifications and experience as one working for the NHS.
