Ds2's review quite good on Monday (after working myself up into a complete neurotic state)
The genetic test results are not back yet even though its been 10 weeks and they are supposed to be back by 8 weeks (typical NHS!) . But the Doc said that ds2 was making progress and had not regressed - he's now commando crawling -she confirmed that ds2 is delayed at this stage although not profoundly. However, she is also now concerned about his height and head circumference (he's off the top of the charts and my dh is only 5' 9") and this needs further investigation - so ds2 will now have a head MRI scan and further tests. She is also going to arrange for Portage (thanks Lou for suggesting this) She also felt that we should still not assume all is perfect with his hearing, so more tests along that line.

As for me, my anxiety is now down to manageable levels (for the moment!), but as this is obviously going to be long haul I am still going to visit the GP next week and have also booked for hypnotherapy (at the recommendation of a friend). Thank you for keeping me sane last week [big hugs to all]

Good news about the commando crawling. Grrr about the delay with the results.

Keep posting and let us know if there's anything more we can do to help. xxx
