I’m at absolute breaking point. Married, one gorgeous DD with SEN.

Make sure im getting time every day to myself. Get in help. Go on antidepressants. Talk to friends.

What do you think is whats tipping you to the edge right now x

Soldier on. Unfortunately.

Rely on school for respite, count down minutes (sometimes seconds) until ds bedtime.

Is your dh of any help? Mine isn’t 😒 he works a lot so it’s all left to me.

Access carers and direct payment through a social worker, ask for a child in need report.
School for respite.
Drive thru coffees
Antidepressants once upon a time
Melatonin for bedtime
Baths for yourself if you can - 15 minutes to yourself at least
Ask social worker about respite places

I have a husband who can’t help also.
Try and find some time in the day for yourself, and take it day by day

I think you should ask DH to help out more. I understand work is important BUT so is your child and mental health. You shouldn't be left to deal with this on your own. Can he request annual leave so you can have break for a week?

Is DD in school or nursery?
