Hi, I'm a final year psychology student at King's College London, and we're conducting a study into the links between ASD, gastrointestinal symptoms, sensory processing and other measures. It's part of a larger study about gut-brain communication in autism. You can read more here.
We're looking for adults (18-50), who are fluent in English to take an online survey that takes about 25 minutes. Here is the SURVEY LINK.
If it feels too long, you can return to it within a week (if you have cookies enabled, I think).
We feel that this area is really under researched as GI issues affect so many with autism. We are trying to fill that knowledge gap, but in order to have meaningful results that we can get published, we need to be able to recruit as many people as we can. You do not need a diagnosis of autism to take part in this study, as we're looking to see how gut function changes across the whole spectrum of autistic traits.
I really appreciate anyone who takes the survey or even reads this post! Please share with anyone you think might be willing to give their time. You will also be entered into a draw for a £20 amazon voucher if you provide your email address at the end of the study.
Thank you so much
