"your not a baby" counted that comment ten times today

"you're big enough to walk"

"shouldnt your little one be in the pushchair????!!!"

but the best one was on the way home on the bus....

"I dont know how you cope with your ds" your little girl in the pushchair is adorable, hehehehehe

How many times did you have to count to 10 to avoid thumping someone?

Dingle · 25/10/2004 19:11

Oh Fio, aren't some people amazing!!

jakbrown · 25/10/2004 19:29
Shock

too. I would find it hard to resist thumping them on the schnoz (feeling tough now I've had a couple of glasses of vino)

and - what makes people think they have the right to comment? did you bother to reply? or just ram them with dd's major buggy .

fio2 · 26/10/2004 11:02

It was just water off a ducks back. I think it just made me think about it yesterday as I havent used the buggy for ages but did yesterday because dd is off school now.

Positiive points, dd LOVES going in it! She had a massive strop this morning because I MADE her walk to ds's nursery

hi
least its not just me people should mind there own business im 16 and use a major buggy ( being small stunted growth ) and have bad joints one thing people dont know im 16 being small but i wonder wat would be said if they knew dont worry tho maclaren do say there for up to SMALL ADULTS and they like to look at them like a wheelchair cum pushchair they have sold loads to adults as well when mum phoned coz i was concerned. I do wish there was more forums about adults using these more than children does any 1 know any adults using them. we should all get together and go in a gang with our majors wonder what looks and what people would say then.why is it the major buggys people do stare at or look twice i do think alot " what are you looking at "but never say anything coz you feel people mite do something if i was left some were, but people never look at a disabled person in a wheelchair do they, you cud say a major buggy is like a wheelchair with small wheels rather than a large buggy, theres 2 ways of looking at it mum said when i felt concious going in it ?
dont worry fio and all the other people using these major buggys least we can stick together on here
take care debbie
