My dd 8 has suspected ASD her meltdowns and anxiety have got worse lately. I have a date on Saturday night with someone who she knows and likes and I will be leaving her with her dad as I have done on many many occasions but she is freaking out about me going and is scared something awful will happen to me. Part of me wants to cancel the date and part of me wants to go but I'm so torn. Advice ?
