We are on track to getting our 8.5 month old diagnosed with, I believe, hemiplegia of the right side. Severe reflux and arching since birth, poor feeding, clear left hand preference, poor tummy time skills, stiff right leg only used in unison and not independently. To me this is all clear. Now physio and ot have seen him and obviously noted concerns but are focused on what he can do. Which is great but means dh is convinced there's nothing wrong. My question is can normal kids present like this?

It does sound like cp, it took me until he was over a yr before anyone would listen to me and give us physio even thou my son had a Ivh grade 3 at birth and with hydrocephalus still had to push, he uses his left had from very early on bad silent reflux stiff right arm and leg couldn't sit unaided until 1 1/2 still can't walk

It's very hard to get a diagnosis but it more important you get good physio at the min
