I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this ,but will give it a go anyway. My ds is 12 and has Down's syndrome. I want to attempt to go to Disney as this year looks like being his first time of really understanding christmas.
This morning whilst watching tv we saw the ad for paris and he was so excited , trying hard to point out and say Mickey Mouse , Father Christmas. He was dancing to the music and i know this could be a real special trip for him. Anyway was just wondering has anyone taken their SN child there ,where did you stay , what about cost, how did you travel there . Have looked at the brochure ,but just need personal experiences please.
Thanks

Hello and welcome. My three have autism and we took them to DLP a few years back, they loved it but it was very tiring.
my twin girls also went in june with their SN school, a group on ten kids they had a fab time.

Agree with oj great but tiring. Went with my dd who has Aspergers and have to say the staff were fantastic. We got exit passes but as we went in January didn't need them as so empty. The Eurotunnel takes about 3 hours so I would make sure you have stuff to keep your ds entertained. My dd and ds loved it and we can't wait to go back

Thanks oj(especially at this dreadfull time for you) and Blossonhill for replying. Can i ask where you stayed and for how long.I have a wheelchair for my son, but only because he tires easily,so i think it will be me that will be the tired one (nothing new there then )Bh beacause it was January and empty did you still get to see laods of charcters , this will be the highlight for him, although he loves rides too
