I need to support a friend! advice please!

Hiya,

A very close friend of mine has just had a baby girl with clubfoot and suspected downs, (they'll find out for certain tomorrow whether she does or not).

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice as to what I could do to support the family, and help out as much as I can. Thank you.

Congratulate as with any other friend having a baby, and play it by ear - listen when she wants to talk etc. in terms of the clubfoot (think the more modern medical term is talipes), there is a very good information and support website at www.steps-charity.org.uk/
