I really didn't. I imagined a dd . go shopping talking girls stuff. boyfriends. and all that.
but......
I have just spent 10 mins trying to explain to dd why she has yet another tummy ache, she is 12. what is the point in her going through this every month. not like one day she is going to be a mum.
sorry
(confused of 2shoesland)

sorry 2shoes
I am dreading this too

isn't there a pill she can have to stop periods? It does seem absolutely fucking pointless.

i will look into it when she starts. at the moment it is just tummy aches at a certain time each month. I think if I can explain it properly it will help.
any ideas where i can download simple picks of a womans reproductive organs. i don't want to just google.....who knows what I will get
