take a break-maile seatons story.

I dont know how may of you read take a break, but about 8yrs ago they ran a series of stories about a mum who decided to keep her baby despite being told she has DS. they recently ran an update of little Maile, and i missed the issue. dont suppose anyone has it to hand, and if they could scan it in and email it to me that would be great.

I remember reading about this amazing woman and her descision when i was only 16.

2nd sept issue i belive this weeks mag said. this week they have run a story who made a different descision. very heartbreaking.

yes i followed the story,i have read this weeks story which i found very upseting, i hope the family who did the story didn't get paid for it or if they did that they donated the money to the DSA, only my opinion of course.

i read through the whole of this weeks story feeling very upset for the baby, but then when the surgeon said the baby would'e had a heart problem as well i was torn between hating the woman, and wondering if the baby would've survived anyway.

i dont have the copies from 8 years ago unfortuantly. it follwed her mother during the pregnancy from when she found out, and told all about her descision etc. was fascinating and very positive. was wondering when they were going to do an update, and now i missed it!!

eids, u dont wanna read this weeks story. its too sad. i was tears.

mind u i was also ready thats life and wa sin tears at one of the stories in there. i blame pregnancy hormones.

Can't remember who it was now! I think someone saved it for me! Could be MIL as they are on hols ATM. If I get it I will let you know.

that would be fab dingle if you could..... misdee - i think I have done the upset - now I get angry - probably not a good thing..... but hey that's life!!

well, when mieow gets back from her holidays, i'll scan in the article and email it to you. my scanner is broken atm so cant do it. or i could send u the actual copy thro the post if you want (your in australia arent u?).

but dingle, that would be fab id you could email the update to me.
