Hi
I am not sure where to post this.
Hospital notes requested.
Can anyone read these traces and say if anything is wrong with them.
I’m going to post a couple and have more which can add if helpful.
Can you pm me if possible.
Thanks

Hopefully I’ve removed any ID

Hi @Countmeout I can't seem to find a way to PM you. Maybe because I'm using an iPad? Clicking on name etc is not doing anything.

Oh I don’t know either I haven’t been on here that long. Thanks for replying. I’ll have a look at my iPad and see if I can see how to do it. Or maybe somebody will come along and tell us.

You know you’ve posted on special needs childrens board?

Countmeout · 13/03/2020 11:46

Yes not sure where to put it. This is not a current /recent birth. All suggestions welcome.

After reading information given to me by a poster above these might be relevant from earlier than the first ones posted

Did they result in a problem with your baby?

I think to pm someone you just click ‘message poster’ ...

Thank you @Whattodo1610
Looking for reasons for some additional needs.

Hi op

In no way meaning to be harsh but it’s very difficult to read a ctg trace in any meaningful sense like this.

Anyone interpreting the trace really needs to know the background ie the pregnancy history, stage of pregnancy, point at which labour started, mums med history any medication. Plus a piece of a trace is rarely useful in isolation- you need to see the whole thing to get an idea of trends or sudden changes.
Even in at the time of labour a trace is never read diagnostically one isolation- all factors must be taken into account.

I can’t imagine that anyone with real obstetric training would agree to comment on this as it would be unethical.

It’s hard to know what to advise as I don’t know any details but if at all possible ask the hospital for full records and a de brief.

Xx

Thank you @babypeach
We have the notes. Current Events have overtaken the need to know so will shelve for the moment.
Thanks to all.
