I'm not sure this is the correct place to post really so please do re-direct me if you feel!
My daughter is 6 years old, not diagnosed with any special needs. She was a bit delayed with her speech, had speech & language therapy at school but has now been signed off by senco. Doing pretty well at school now although had a slow start. Her year 1 teacher had forewarned me she may not go up to next class last year due to not meeting expected (small primary school with only 3 classes) but my daughter amazed us all by meeting the expected level to go up.
At school they say she is "unique" but no issues.
At home she can be the sweetest little girl but can turn at the drop of a hat. She has been violent towards me in the past, highly emotional, angry, destructive... I have 2 older daughters & we all often tread on egg shells so as not to set her off.

Anyway, I would like to seek some help for her to manage her behaviour because quite frankly it is making family life difficult and causes such distress for her and the rest of us. I also think I need to be guided on how to deal with her behaviour. My older girls age 8 & 11 do not behave like this.
How do I go about this? Should I go to my gp? If so , do I take her with me or go alone so she doesn't hear what I say about her?

Sorry for long post!!
