Recommendations for private ADHD diagnosis in the south west?

We've been wavering about doing this for literally years for DD, with a suspicion of inattentive ADHD. The clinical descriptions read like they've met her, but she's bright so has coped. Secondary school has proved harder, and it's starting to impact, and school agree that an assessment would be good.

Can anyone recommend a clinic or paediatrician? We will try through the NHS, but I want to have a back up as we need to get this sorted before she gets into GCSE options and so on.

Hi we are also on the pathway. My son is in year 5, he has a Qb test next month but the waiting time for the actual diagnosis is a year 😡 we have looked into getting a private paediatrician to diagnose but i have been told that the nhs won't take the diagnose or specialist won't medicate. I have asked all the 'professionals' if this is true but no one will give me a proper answer.
