Any other Tourette’s parents here?

My 9 year old daughter has finally had a firm diagnosis from the hospital of Tourette’s, although we’ve known for 4 years that she has it. Just wondered if there are any parents out there with children of a similar age who have TS? We’ve been told there’s virtually no support in our area ( South Wales) and that the best thing we can do is speak to other parents!

In my madness, going through all the old posts on this; thanks for replying to me on other thread. I'm sorry no one answered this--I know how lonely it feels. Please...tell me what in the world you do to keep yourself from getting sad/overwhelmed/angry? My daughter's grunting tic is literally every minute, if not more (though school hasn't heard it...) and I really struggle to be near her. It's horrible.
