My Little boy stopped cooing a few weeks ago (4months)- about the same time he started rolling - befor he would always be oohing, gooing and gurgling and then it just stopped!
it does seem to coincide with when he became physically active, could this be why?
No problems with hearing and still squeals, laughs and smiles, good eye contact and gets chatted to alot etc.
did anyone else find this happened?

please help I'm so worried health visitor said not to worry but i can't help it!

What I have found with both of mine is that they concentrate on learning one new thing .... and then just seem to store that away while they concentrate on something else. EG DS2 at 8 months learnt to wave did it CONSTANTLY for two weeks then learnt to clap and hasn't waved since! I wouldn't worry if hes still laughing etc as hes probably just concentrating on trying to get a s mobile as possible!

it does seem that way - all he wants to do at the moment is roll over and drag himself over to things!

hopefully if i keep talking to him he'll suprise ma and respond again soon!

thanks
