I am a teaching assistant and I make my own but Shirlie Hughes's 'Alfie Gives A Hand' is brilliant. It goes through the whole getting ready for a party, how he feels when he gets there, ie- he feels a bit apprehensive and has to hold on to his comfort blanket, but he makes a friend etc. Lovely story and beautiful illustrations.
