So finally have a diagnosis for young teen of ASD, what can I "insist" that the school do for DD and for me? Can I insist that they apply for an ECHP, what about reasonable adjustments.
School refusal is going on with only a few lessons attended on a few days. Mostly in the unit that is supposed to get them back into full time class. My previous suggestions such as the same teacher meeting her at the start of the day were never followed through. There is always a reason why they can't do x y z.
It's a mess I am supposed to work full time, I don't think there is another school that would cater for her any better locally.
