DD is finding it hard to focus and has seemed really spaced out at times recently. It's the sort of behaviour she had before she started medication. She has been on Elvanse for 18 months and I'm wondering if she possibly needs a higher dose. I will speak with her paed but has anyone else found they have had to increase their child's dosage after around the 18 month mark ?

Has she grown and put on weight? Medication doses are often related to weight.

No not significantly at all. She's grown about 4 cms and put on 3lbs -she's very slim.

Our DS is young and growing rapidly. He has had his medication increased a few times in the space of a 2yrs. From what you've said It does sound like it might be time to increase it.

Mine has but he's on an amphetamine. We have to take meds break on school holidays to get the medication to work as he's max out the dose.
