Dd has come home with the letter for HPV, DD has ASD, severe speech and language disorder and is in a sn school. Her sister had the vaccine la couple years ago and was able to make the choice herself but dd2 doesn’t have the understanding. Dd2 has reacted badly to all vaccines ending up in hospital after MMR. I know there’s lots of debates around vaccination and I don’t want to start that debate, over all I am for vaccination. I am unsure if dd should have this one for several reasons, the risk of her having a reaction is high, is she ever going to be sexually active? Does she really need it?
Has anyone decide not to go ahead?
