Our 9 year old is currently being assessed for ASD, SPD, ADHD, GDD etc etc - seems no one knows as he has significant traits of all of them so are assessing for everything. In general people have also started mentioning Tourettes Syndrome as well.
We have obviously looked this up and read quite a bit and there seems to be a lot of bells ringing but there is little information on TS alongside ASD - just that there is a suspected link.
There is a lot on TS and ADHD and a little bit on TS and SPD.
Has anyone any experience of this - can they be assessed together?
How can TS and ASP be managed together - we are beginning to feel out of our depth with all these labels stacking up.
