last weekend and from 1am to 6am this morning dd was taken to A&E by DH.
The usual, high temperature followed by her fitting/shaking which they put down to febrile convulsions.
BUT she is waiting to have her tonsils/adenoids out and grommits put in.
Despite her being taken to hospital goodness knows how many times for her tonsils since she has been born, she has a speech disorder and so cannot tell us when she is feeling ill, i do usually spot it but not this time.
i feel awful, i couldnt go as we had no babysitter for DS and to takehim to A&E and him see medics messing with his sister would result in the biggest meltdown ever so i wrote a list, ie she,s allergic to trimiphrepram, dont give her amoxycillin, she,s immune to it see her notes from her paed, she has an immune defiency and is receiving pnemecoccol injections etc etc and so they send her home with Amoxycillin hence her ending back up there, they dont have a clue when it comes to SN, dh said they kept saying to her "DD, DD we know you and your mummy, tell us where it hurts"
THEY KNOW SHE HAS A LANGUAGE DISORDER AND POSSIBLE ASD.
oh im stopping now cos im so annoyed but ill be on to her paed first thing on monday morning.

God your poor dd, I hope she is feeling better now. How bloody frustrating for you all when people do not listen. My ds1 has no speech so when he is ill it is a guessing game aswell. Once again, I hope she is feeling o.k. now and that things are a little calmer.
