Our DS has ADHD/ASD, an EHCP and his school gets funding to support him.
We've had a letter to say that because of this he is eligible for some funding for activities and leisure opportunities.
I assumed it would be some kind of away day or something but it seems there is an option for us to take the money and do/buy something for him. The examples in the leaflet are swimming or horse riding lessons, trips out, play equipment etc. We have to say how we've spent it and I assume it needs to support him in some way.
Has anyone had this funding and if so how did you spend it?
