i have done a search but there is so much stuff so now i am confused, have tried the omega 3 strawberry one, it tastes foul, and i struggled to get anyone to try it, is there another brand, (but must be liquid)that has a better taste, is eq liquid any better? what about effelex or eskimo oil, thou the chemist man looked puzzled when i asked him if they did eskimo oil!
thanks in advance.

DSs don't seem to have noticed the vanilla Eye-Q liquid I put on their breakfast cereal.

How old are your children? Mine learned to take capsules when they were 4 and 6 using a tip gleaned on here of course! Cut up jelly Haribo sweets, and give them increasing sizes to try and swallow whole. My boys took about 3 minutes to completely master the process, and now take a HUGE (1000 mg) capsule every morning effortlessly.

so vanilla eq is o.k ish taste wise then, my three are 10, 10,and 7 but have asd and none of my lot do jelly or even jelly type sweets so dont think it would work, i am thinking about it for my youngest he has most difficulities with keeping focused, except for on playstation of course!

TBH, I've no idea what it tastes like! It works really well on weetabix because it soaks in. My DSs are 5 and 3 and the 5 yo did begin to notice the way the oil floats on the milk. I told him it was special medicine to make him cleverer and he still eats the cereal knowing it's there. He wouldn't touch effervescent multi vitamins so I'm guessing this doesn't taste foul - not sure how much success I'd have giving it to them off a spoon though.

Somewhere on another thread, I think Robinw said her DD preferred the lemon one or another brand entirely.

Boots strawberry does taste foul, but we can disguise it by mixing in with strawberry crunch cereals in breakfast bowl. My fussy 2yo even eats it happily. Not sure I'll buy it again, tho'. The lemon-flavour Eye-Q is nice in milk (honest!), ok in breakfast cereal, too.

why not use flax seed instead, has omega 9,6 & 3. You can get it at Sainsburys.

may have to think of flax then, but my son it very limited food wise, he will only eat golden grahams for cereal but wont have milk on them, he eats bread bacon pizza and not much else he wont eat messy food so bit hard to hide stuff really especailly if its strong tatsing/smelling.
what flax look/taste like
