my 4 year ds luke has just been diagnosed with asd and moderate learning difficuties he was referred to ryegate for a 2 day assesment and they gave us the diagnoses on tuesday was shocked as wasnt expecting it he also has unstable shoulders core/girdle plasility (his hips)she mentioned floppy hips which prevents him from hopping,riding a bike etc,can anyone give me any more info i have been told to apply for dla,carers allowance but its still all sinking in

thanks dinasaur we are learning new stuff about ds why he does things,why his sleep pattern is the way it is gets out of bed 2-3 times a night and just lays on floor in a ball,lots of things i have read and thought luke does that now i know why
