do you get paid dla in advance. puzzled big time.

Hi, i have a bank credit of 800 plus in my bank this morning, i applied for dla in mid april. i don't get paid til friday, could be that but unlikely. Do you get dla in advance as i was wondering if it could be that. seems alot. still have to recieve letter for dla??

You sometimes get the money in your account before the letter arrives. Probably its that backdated to the date of your application.

i shouldn't get mobility as dd is not 5 and can walk albeit it supervised. Even higher rate would not add up to 800 plus unless i get paid in advance and higher rate (unlikely). Must be wages.

It is my salary. I am sort of pleased cos we have no diagnosis yet. I think it is sensory probs and not a asd. I would be worried if we got higher rate as DLA people contacted the ped for info and i would think ped has not told us dx, iyswim.
