when we go away at the weekend to Wales (have a caravan) my DD's always want to go to the little fair that is next to the beach

The hobby horses (carousel) cost £1.50, but as one of my DD has SN we have to pay for one of us to go on also

But it makes it £4.50 for just 1 ride on the hobby horses

I want to complain as my Daughters are nearly 6, one can go on her own, its not our fault the other one still needs help

I know we have all had to pay to go on rides before now with our little ones, but that's because they are too young to go on their own

I don't think we should have to pay extra because our DD has a disability

I really want to contact soem one to complain about it...

But it is just maybe around 8 individual rides , I wouldn't know if one person owned the lot or people just 'rent' the space to put their rides there

Anyone have any idea's? It really gets to me as we end up not going as it just costs far too much

Thanks

maybe call the local council of that area and see what they suggest. i can understand what you mean though. i like taking the kids out and we go to chester zoo a lot and it's so cheap to get in for us as dd1 is disabled, dd2 is still a baby and i'm a carer so we only pay for dp. there should be some help for you.

Anniebear, I'm not being funny, but I presume you have already explained the situation to the carousel owner and asked if you could go on for free - or even maybe ask for a discount - like 50p for you or something?
