i have nappies coming out of my ears.........

last week i spoke to the incontinece nurse about cutting the nappies down and going up a size in them and pullups.
delivery came today...instead of 2 packs of nappies I got........

10!!!!!!!!! ok the packs are smaller but 10 ffs i use about 1 a day as we use pullups.

Nappy mountain her too, we get 5 a day for ds2, still had 4 packs left when the next delivery arrived.
DO you know, can I just ring them to cut back a little or will i have to go through the assessment again?

never had the 4 aday rule here. they are massive just put one on her and they swamped her. I will just ring them and ask for none for next 2 deliverys(as it was their mistake)

Hi everyone. When I wanted to cut down on the quantity of nappies for my ds, I phoned the incontinence nurse (unfortunate title I think!) and it was easy to change the order. I didn't have to do the whole assessment again.

But I did stockpile nappies under his bed for quite some time first! They came in handy for my next child!!

as 2shoes knows coz she's been v sweet and given me lots of supplies, here in west sussex i still don't get them and ds is nearly 7yrs

i have been passed from pillar to post locally, and because our nurse specialist is in London, and out of area, her hands are tied, she keeps telling the local lot to sort it tho. Ds is now being taught intermittent self catheterisation as of today

my HV is totally hopeless and says that as he's over 5 it's not her dept, havn't approached gp, but don't rate her either. But good idea Fio, thanks for that,will try her.

I have a bit too many. I have had to reduce the order. sh is going up into larger ones next time.

that would be totally fantastic, but only iof you are sure you can spare them hun.

i have lots but have to be careful that i don't leve my self short. can deffo spare them
