Hello, can anyone recommend a private educational psychologist in the London/Essex? Having no luck getting any cooperation from our LEA one. My DS last saw one when he was 5! He does have a ECHP plan but his reading is still non existent in Yr 5 and I would like a full academic assessment.

Tim Francis E5 Dyslexia Centre. He just did our DDs whos in Y5 too and he was very reasonable with fees and very professional. Less friendly than the LEA ones so DD was a bit skittish with him but its because he tests EVERYTHING and just has no time for chit chat. We got a 34 page report within 2 weeks. I dont think shes as bad as the report makes out but its a very good indication of how shed do in an exam scenario so it is very useful and got us the EHCP we needed.
